MBR technology & applications
Proprietary MBR products and systems:
- Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR)
- Micro Filtration (MF)
MBR is the abbreviation of Membrane Bio-Reactor. It is a water treatment technology that combines membrane separation technology with biotechnology. It has the advantages of both membrane treatment technology and biological treatment technology. It replaces the traditional secondary settling tank with a micro filtration membrane module as a mud-water separation unit. The microbial flocs and suspended solids retained by the micro filtration membrane can maintain a high biological concentration and prolong the residence time of organic solids in the bio-reactor, greatly improving the oxidation efficiency and resulting in high-quality effluent water quality. Compared with traditional technology, MBR technology has advantages in water quality, footprint, maintenance and management.
