The Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) process is an extremely efficient combination of a well-proven biological treatment process to biodegrade organic matter, and a membrane-based solids-liquid separation process. This combination delivers treated water with vastly reduced levels of Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and an almost complete removal of suspended solids.
