We are the world’s largest manufacturer of TIPS (Thermally Induced Phase Separation) PVDF membranes and are capable of manufacturing NIPS (non-solvent induced phase separation) PVDF membranes as well.

Memstar’s 3G-TIPS fiber has optimal mechanical strength, superior chemical resistance, and is treated to be permanently hydrophilic.

These characteristics give the products superior anti-fouling performance, the ability to chemically clean across the entire pH spectrum allowing the products to be applied in the most challenging applications, and the highest effective filtration area per unit volume which leads to reduction in membrane tank footprint and air scouring requirement.

The modules can be packaged into one of our many engineered skid designs. Our largest skids can process <300 gpm while requiring a very low footprint (~1/2 of our leading competitors) due to the double decker configuration. There are two patented aeration technologies which eliminate the need for backwashing and minimize energy consumption. These products have been tested and proven by end users, international membrane producers, and water treatment solution OEMs.

The net result is that our technology creates value and drives down the cost for customers through smaller overall system footprint, lower capital and O&M cost, lower energy consumption, and longer membrane life.
