'Membrane vs ... conventional technologies' video series
This series of seven videos aims to provide a short summary of the classical processes competing with membrane/MBR technology − including CAS, gravitation, media filtration, UV & chemical disinfection, fixed-film processes and thermal desalination. They include an explanation of the underpinning process principles and/or key governing equations with simple graphical illustrations.
Each video is less than seven minutes long: they are not comprehensive, but provide an insight into the comparative merits of the membrane and classical process technology options.
