Display advert slots
Display advertisements are usually offered for six-month or twelve-month slots. Other time frames are available on request.
Advertisers select a package of pages on the website on which they wish their advert to appear. These packages are as follows:
- All pages – top banner*
- All pages – footer*
- Home page and all Installations pages
- All pages under the ‘About MBRs’ tab plus all Consultants and Contractors directory pages
- All pages under the ‘MBR Resources’ tab (includes Features, News, Training and Events, MBR Jobs, MBR Blog)
- All Membrane Products directory pages
- All Technology Suppliers directory pages.
Adverts appear on a rotating basis, so:
*These advert spaces may be sold up to three times, so that any one of the three adverts may appear in this slot at each web visit. Adverts are served randomly. If only one advert is sold in this slot, then it will appear at every web visit.
All other adverts are served randomly on the page so they will appear in a different position in the right hand column at each web visit. If only one advert is sold in this slot, then it will always appear in the top (first) position.
If you have booked a slot for six months, the slot may thereafter be booked to another client – there is no automatic right to renew a particular slot. If you are keen to retain a particular slot, then we recommend that you reserve the slot for a longer period. However, we will always do our best to accommodate you and you will be offered the next best available slot where this situation arises.
Right hand display advertisements are 220px (width) x 293px (height).
The top banner is 450px (width) x 75px (height).
The footer advert is 360px (width) x 247px (height).
Please supply jpegs, gifs or animated gifs. You should also notify us of the full link url.
Graphics must be received ten (10) days before the reserved slot start date. Adverts which have not been received by their reserved slot start date will be posted as soon as possible after the received date, but there will be no compensatory extension to the reserved slot date.

Procedure and payment
The MBR Site will invoice you for payment (by Paypal or pro forma invoice) at the point of reserving your display advertisement slot (ie at time of booking, not when your advertisement first appears on our website). You do not need a Paypal account to pay a Paypal invoice.
The MBR Site may invoice you (by prior arrangement) in dollars, subject to an additional fee of $50 to cover currency conversion charges and bank and admin fees.
Payment for display advertisements must be received within 28 days of the receipt of the invoice. If payment has not been received within 28 days of the invoice being received, The MBR Site reserves the right to remove the advertisement until such payment is received OR to reallocate the advertising slot to another advertiser, whichever option is appropriate in the circumstances in the opinion of The MBR Site.
Cancellation of reserved display advert slots must be made in writing to email@example.com by the person who made the original booking.
If a slot is cancelled within 10 days of the reserved slot date, then you will be required to pay the full invoiced amount.
