The Ovivo® MBR Knowledge Center and MICRODYN-NADIR manufacturing plant announces grand opening in Austin, Texas

On 3 May 2018, the partnership of Ovivo USA (Ovivo) and MICRODYN-NADIR will host the grand opening of the Ovivo® MBR Knowledge Center and MICRODYN-NADIR Manufacturing Plant for BIO-CEL® MBR Membrane Modules.
This new 27,000 square foot facility, in Austin, Texas USA, will house a fully automated, cutting edge membrane module production line as well as offices for Ovivo designers, engineers and technicians. From instrumentation, to control valves, blowers, pumps and automation, customers will be able to help design their own systems including customized membrane modules. The new production line will primarily serve Ovivo customers but will have the capacity to support projects around the world.
The grand opening of the Ovivo® MBR Knowledge Center and MICRODYN-NADIR Manufacturing Plant will coincide with the 11th Annual Ovivo MBR Operator’s Workshop (2–4 May 2018). Workshop attendees will get a sneak peek at the new facility.
Ovivo has been in the U.S. wastewater market since 1914 and the Austin, TX office has been serving the market since 1966; the same time MICRODYN-NADIR started producing membranes. The company’s heritage extends back to the very first activated sludge patent in the U.S. and the first ever MBR patent.
As a company Ovivo has over 50,000 pieces of equipment installed at every major treatment plant in the U.S. and has sold more than 2,000 biological processes including over 300 MBR Systems. Ovivo is now building on their legacy with the grand opening of the Ovivo® MBR Knowledge Center and MICRODYN-NADIR Manufacturing Plant.
