New Managing Director appointed at UK's Worcester-based Aquabio Ltd

A new Managing Director has been announced at Worcester-based Aquabio Ltd. Terry McCarthy has taken up the role, after a senior management re-structure.

Terry – who has worked at Aquabio for the last 15 years – spent 11 years as a Project Manager and a further four years as General Manager of the firm, responsible for the project delivery teams who deliver multi million pound capital projects to clients.

Other changes include :

• Former Managing Director Steve Goodwin has moved to the position of General Manager, overseeing sales and marketing
• Dan Brothwell has been promoted to General Manager of Projects
• Richard Stanley takes up the new role of Operations and Service Manager.

Steve Goodwin, General Manager at Aquabio said, 'Terry has been with Aquabio from its early days and has always been a key member of the team as the company has grown. As a result, he has both a thorough knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the business and, as such, is the perfect choice for the role. Luckily for us, he also has a razor sharp mind, natural charm and wit!'

Aquabio – which operates from its headquarters in Hallow, Worcestershire - was established in 1997 and operates in industrial water, wastewater and air treatment, and water recycling and reuse. The company has pioneered the implementation of water recycling within a wide range of industries including food and drink, bio fuels, pulp and paper, landfill and leachate and pharmaceuticals.

Aquabio is part of the Freudenberg Group, a global company which operates in 60 countries worldwide.
