About BluBox MBR LLC

BluBox was conceived of by a team of technology experts with a long history of delivering MBR solutions. The designers, engineers, fabricators, programmers, drafters, and technicians behind the product have been delivering MBR systems for nearly two decades. The average MBR related experience of the core design team is over 15 years.

BluBox represents the next generation of MBR technology with a long history of success. BluBox is manufactured in Texas. It is delivered and supported by one of the most experienced MBR teams in the industry.

Our focus at BluBox is to be the clear market leader in providing turn-key temporary, leased or site built MBR wastewater treatment and water reuse system solutions for flow rates ranging from 50,000 to 500,000 gallons per day.

BluBox can be offered as part of a turnkey solution through Integrated Water Services Inc., our Design/Build integrator, or delivered as a standalone product for integration and application by others.

Market applications:

  • Wastewater Treatment
  • Water Treatment
  • Bypass Unit

Modular Systems

70K GPD Standard System

The nominal capacity of each unit is 70,000 gallons per day (gpd) without supplemental process tankage. The BluBox treatment capacity can be easily supplemented by adding process tankage for higher strength waste applications. With remote monitoring and reporting tools, operators can view their system and generate real-time performance reports.

150K GPD / 300K GPD Standard Designs

The modularity of BluBox MBR units allows one to set up multiple trains with the base 150k and 300k designs to address higher hydraulic loads. In addition, one is able to phase in additional BluBox units over time as needed. All offboard equipment and unit operations are available as options for each project. From lift stations to equalization, generators, and waste solids management equipment, all plant assets are controlled by the onboard computer.

Membrane: Robust, simple and efficient membrane cassettes

Most Durable

The reinforcing bars at the top seam and shock-absorbing rings make the L-2 Module three times more durable than older products. It is “the most durable BIO-CEL module ever made.” Low flux design ensures reliable operation and the fine bubble diffuser requires no routine maintenance.

High Effluent Quality

The BIO-CEL® membrane is a cost-effective and scalable solution for meeting challenging effluent requirements for wastewater treatment. The BIO-CEL MBR membrane serves as an effective physical barrier for the retention of solids and bacteria. It produces a high volume of superior quality effluent at a consistent flow rate and is especially useful for water reuse applications (California Title-22 approved).

Less Cleaning Time

The open-side design of the flat-sheet L-2 BIO-CEL® Membrane Modules simplifies maintenance as compared to competing technologies. The patented BIO-CEL MBR membrane laminate combines the advantages of flat sheet and hollow fiber membranes, allowing for backwash capability and increased durability.

Remote Monitoring: Robust, Simple Controls

Powerful, easy data monitoring

The Streametric data monitoring tool makes data management easy. Information is readily available from a smartphone using a secure connection and assignable privileges. The platform includes report generation tools, predictive analytics, and customizable dashboard. Each operator can setup his or her own landing page to see prioritize information based on preference.
